Coil Master SEB Review

CoilMaster SEB

Today we will be having a look at the Coil Master SEB (SS E-juice Bottle). The SEB is a carrying container/bottle made out of stainless steel that allows you to carry your e-juice safely without any leaks or fear of breaking. For me personally this was one accessory that was missing from my daily setup and I have always wanted something to carry my e-juice without worrying that it will break if I drop it or it would leak when I least expect it.

CoilMaster SEBIt seems that Coil Master have managed to come up with another interesting product and to be honest this was something that was lacking on the market for a while. The only alternative I can think of at the moment is the U-CAN from Innokin however from my point of view the U-CAN doesn’t even come close in terms of quality of the build to the SEB from Coil Master. You’ve got to trust me on this one, the level of detail that is put into this product is simply beyond every expectation I had.

CoilMaster SEBThe SEB comes in a nice cylindrical package and you also get a user manual and nice pouch to keep those scratches away. I have been using mine for about a week or so and haven’t noticed any marks on it whatsoever but I am sure this depends on how you take care of it in the long run. For example I wouldn’t recommend carrying this next to a bunch of keys if you want it to look brand new.

Spec wise, here is what the SEB has to offer:

  • Stainless Steel Body
  • Corrosion free
  • 20 ml capacity
  • Portable, snap hook included
  • Shockproof
  • Adjustable e-juice flow rate (max 1.25 ml per button press)
  • Precision spring loaded tip
  • 26 mm in diameter and 91.6 mm in height

CoilMaster SEBBox contents:

  • 1 x Coil Master SEB (stainless steel)
  • 1 x pouch
  • 1 x user manual
  • 1 x snap hook (silver color)

As mentioned in the specifications the e-juice flow rate can be adjusted, at the bottom of the SEB you will find ring that allows you to control how far along the button can be pushed thus allowing more or less e-juice to be dispensed. The maximum you can get out of it is 1.25 ml per button press. The button can be locked by unscrewing the knurled bottom ring.

CoilMaster SEBThe SEB has a window on each size stretching nearly the full height of the container, each window has laser edged markings so that you can see how much e-juice you have left. The top of the SEB has a cover to prevent e-juice from leaking out or come in contact with any outside elements. On the top cover you have a key ring attached to a snap hook which makes it very convenient for carrying this with you. The top cap also has the role of protecting the spring loaded tip: the top cap simply screws down – the threading on this is good.  Filling the tank is very easy and convenient, this is done by unscrewing the cap that contains the spring loaded.

Overall Impression

As mentioned at the beginning of the post, this is one piece of kit that I have been waiting for quite some time and it seems that Coil Master have managed to come up with something really special here and exceeded my expectations. Now, is it useful? It sure is! Especially since the majority of e-juice manufacturers use glass bottles and dropper caps which are prone to break if they are accidentally dropped and dropper caps can be sometimes difficult to use especially if the fill holes of you atomizer are too small.

CoilMaster SEB

Regarding pricing, the Coil Master SEB now costs 29.99$ and you can purchase it directly from coil-master.net. I think it is worth the money, just imagine that if you were to accidentally drop a bottle of your favorite e-juice you would probably be paying more for that. With the SEB you don’t have to worry about this anymore.

The Ice Cubed RDA by Wotofo

Wotofo Ice Cubed

For today I have something interesting to show you, a dripper (RDA) from Wotofo that is called the Ice Cubed RDA. This dripper uses pretty much the same platform as the Sapor, which I reviewed a while ago here however this Ice Cubed RDA has a little twist and during this review we will go into the details of what makes this dripper special.

Wotofo Ice CubedThe first thing you will notice on this RDA is the glass chamber with beveled corners, I am sure this will catch a lot of attention or at least this is what I have noticed during the time I have used mine. The dripper I have on review is the stainless steel version and it is simply a looker 🙂

Time to go into the details with this one and speak about it’s cloud chucking capabilities and they way it renders the flavor.

Clouds and Flavor

I am currently running this with a dual twisted clapton build 4 wraps reading at 0.25 Ohms and it is a proper cloud chucking machine with the airflow wide open. Similar with the Sapor, this RDA can only be run in dual coil mode as you do not have the option to close one side of the airflow to run it as a single coil setup. It was very hard to distinguish exactly what time of RDA this is, is it oriented more to cloud chasing or flavor chasing? To me it seems to have a bit of a dual personality 🙂 It gives massive clouds but at the same time the taste it renders is spot on, regardless of the build you have. So far I have tried this with Twisted Clatopons and Kanthal.

I don’t know why I end up comparing this against other drippers when the focus should be on this little fella. I have to be honest with you, this RDA is miles away from the Sapor, it is so much better in every sense. Perhaps the only area where the Sapor has a slight edge would be the build deck space. On the Ice Cubed RDA you won’t be able to fit larger diameter coils (with inner diameter larger than 3mm).

Black Widow RDA by CloudJoy

Black Widow RDA

Today, I will be doing a review on a dripper (RDA) made by CloudJoy. CloudJoy is a company know for being the first to introduce a turbine-like system on their atomizers. The turbine-like system is meant to allow larger draws and to cool the coil at the same time. Personally at first I saw this as a gimmicky feature however after long use I did notice a small improvement in terms of the draws I was pulling in comparison to other drippers with a similar design. Now if you ask me I don’t know exactly if it is the fan/turbine like drip tip or just the airflow design. As I mentioned it is only a small improvement so don’t expect anything huge since it is not the case however all in all this RDA is pretty nice, the value for money is good especially if you are on the market for a good and affordable dripper. The RDA is well build and the deck is a pleasure to build on,  the airflow on this dripper is on top and is adjustable.

Clouds

As the packaging suggest – Big clouds? Yes! With this one you can create some big clouds depending on you coil setup:) Unfortunately the RDA cannot be run in a single coil setup as you do not have the option of closing one side of the airflow. However the nice thing about it is the fact that the airflow is on top, in this way air is pushed down onto the coils and then back up, in return this will give you a nice flavorful vape.

Flavor

Flavor is delicious,  I have tried a couple of setups (Nichrome, Kanthal and Claptons) and the flavor was overall very enjoyable. I did a quick comparison with the Sapor RDA and have noticed that this outperforms the Sapor in terms of flavor, this is due to it’s airflow system and the addition of a ceramic base for the juice well.

Building

Another thing I have enjoyed on this dripper is the fact that it is very easy to build due to it’s velocity style deck, and this would be a dripper that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying to drip for the first time, partly because this won’t leak on you and building on this deck is easy.

Black Widow RDA deckYou even have a couple of ceramic tabs on the side of the deck to help with your wicking, the tabs are there to help prevent the cotton from touching the barrel and getting burnt. With this dripper you won’t experience any spit-back, this is due to its drip tip design with the turbine-fan in it that will prevent any hot ejuice reaching your mouth.

Construction

The build quality of this atomizer is excellent, especially when taking into consideration this is not an expensive dripper. The stainless steel body is nice and thick and nothing seems to be flimsy on this RDA, even the airflow adjustment ring seems to have a solid design and adjusting this is easy and smooth.

Black Widow RDAWith the velocity deck you can’t go wrong on a dripper, the deck is a two post design with four rounded post holes, post holes are fairly big so you won’t have any issues with your coil leads in here, however if you are thinking of putting anything larger than a 3 mm inner diameter coil(horizontal) you will have some issues as the coil will be touching the inner barrel/chimney.

The RDA uses 4 grub screws, I didn’t have any issues with these so far, none of them have stripped or have cut the wires. The juice well is fairly deep (5.6mm) and you won’t experience any leaking in case you have overdripped. The chimney/cap is held into place by 3 o-rings, the o-rings are nice and snug and after a few weeks of usage they didn’t show any signs of wear and tear. The package does include a spare set of o-rings just in case you need to replace the ones already fitted on the dripper. The 510 pin is perfectly centered and it is made out of copper.

In terms of dimensions, the Black Widow RDA is a 22 mm RDA with 10 mm inner bore drip tip. You cannot use your own drip tip with this atomizer, however if you are not a huge fan of the turbine fan in the drip tip this can be removed. I have tried installing the wide bore drip tip from the Sapor RDA however this got stuck and I had a bit of a trouble getting this out (not recommended).

Another great feature on this dripper is the removable ceramic cup in the base, besides the fact that it helps with the taste of the flavour it also helps prevent heat transfer to the mod and will also prevent shorts.

Coil Master 521 Tab Review

LSF_4928

Coil Master has managed to establish itself as an important company in the vaping industry with top of the line accessories. Coil Master’s impact in the vaping world is quite important as they have offered us a better and quicker way to build. This is mainly due to the release of some interesting products, out of which I would like to mention the Coil Master DIY Kit V2, that I have reviewed a while ago. In  today’s review I will also be featuring other accessories from Coil Master however the focus will be on this little tool – The Coil Master 521 Tab.

What is a Coil Master 521 Tab?

The Coil Master 521 Tab is essentially a multi-function tool  that enables you to rebuild coils for your atomizers in a safe and quick way. The fact that it is so versatile it will certainly make it even more appealing to take it away with you, this tool ca replace all of the below in a small and compact package:

  • An ohm reader
  • A voltage meter for mechanical mods/regulated mods
  • A coil rebuilder/testing deck
  • A table Mod

Box contents

Coil Master 521 TabPackaging for this device looks top notch, the device arrived in an eye appealing red and black presentation box with the Coil Master logo embossed on the top of the box and 521 lettering on the sides. All the accessories are nicely tucked in and easily reachable.

The box that I have received contained the following:

  • 1 x Coil Master 521 Tab
  • 1 x Snap-on adaptor for voltage readings
  • 1 x micro USB charging cable
  • 2 x alligator test leads
  • 1 x user manual
  • 1 x promotional giveaway leaflet

Coil Master 521 Tab

Look and feel

The first thing that caught my attention was it’s design, it’s a beautiful device with a small form factor. The size of the device is spot on for it’s purpose, it’s not too small to make it difficult to build on or too big to leave it at home. The device is 84.5mm long X 69.5mm wide x 49.5mm in depth. Size wise it is comparable to an ohm meter but slightly bigger. The overall material used is hard plastic (ABS) for the device and the shape is ‘box style’.

On the top of you device you will have your building deck with the integrated 510 connection, which looks recessed into the aluminium top cap, the 510 brass pin is spring loaded and it has made a connection with all the atomizers I have tested. The device also features an LED display on top of the 521 tab, the display is nice an bright and shows the necessary information (ohms/voltage). The previous version of the 521 tab featured an OLED display that also showed a battery meter and had a couple of graphics when you were in firing mode, the version I have on review is the newer model that doesn’t have the OLED display.

Coil Master 521 TabI favor the old OLED display but there is merit in keeping things simple (for instance it saves battery life). Next to the display you will find a big firing button that sits nice and firm and has a pleasant sound to it. On the left part of the display you also have a blue LED to let you know that you are in firing mode. On the right side of the device you have your mode selector (burn/off/reader) and down below you have your micro USB port for charging. Coil Master 521 Tab

The left side of the device has Coil Master 521 embossed that adds to the design and details put into the device. On the bottom side you have the battery compartment that is fixed into place with two tabs to prevent the cover from sliding off and magnets to prevent it from falling and to allow you to easily replace your 18650 battery without tools. The battery cover also has 4 rubber pads to prevent the 521 tab from moving on your table or any surface when you are doing your builds.

Video: Vaping vs Smoking

If you are curios to see the difference between vaping and smoking I would highly recommend the below video. I would also urge any smokers that are visiting this site to have a quick look over this video in hope that this might help them search for alternatives or quit smoking.

Aspire Cleito Review

Aspire Cleito

For today I have a new sub-ohm tank to show you – the Aspire Cleito. Aspire have been on the market for quite some time now and have produced several successful tanks like the Aspire Triton and the Atlantis. With the Cleito, Aspire have managed to come-up with something new, the first thing you will notice with this tank is the fact that the chimney section is the actual coil head. At first I was a bit hesitant about the new design since I thought this will give you a lot of spit-back but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is not the case.

The coil head in this tank is big with massive juice ports, the design is totally new and the Aspire Cleito coil heads are not compatible with any of the previous Aspire sub-ohm tanks. Before we go into the full review, let’s have a quick look at the box contents and specifications for this sub-ohm tank:

Box contents:

  • 1 x Aspire Cleito tank
  • 1 x Pyrex spare glass
  • 1 x Vape band
  • 4 x Rubber cuffs
  • 1 x 0.4 Ohm Clapton coil (range 40 – 60 W)
  • 1 x 0.2 Ohm Clapton coil (range 55 – 70 W)
  • 1 x Warranty Card

Quick Specs:

  • Diameter: 22 mm, 58 mm in height without the drip tip and 510 base
  • Pyrex glass tank
  • 304 stainless steel construction
  • Wide bore Delrin drip tip

Aspire Cleito

Build Quality

The materials used in the Aspire Cleito tank are good (304 stainless steel) and the finish is spot on, you won’t see any rough edges or threads and the entire tank came perfectly clean (no machining oil or funny smells).

The tank I have on review is the stainless steel version and so far I haven’t noticed any scratches from the daily wearAspire Cleito and tear. I have used this tank daily for over a week or so and didn’t encounter any leaks so far, although there were a couple of times when I have filled the tank with the bottom airflow wide open and would have expected it to leak. The 510 pin is nicely centered and it has made a connection with all my mods, I wouldn’t use this on a mechanical mod since the 510 pin does not protrude well enough and it is not adjustable.

Due to its bottom airflow design you would expect condensation to build up however with the Aspire Cleito this was not the case, I haven’t noticed any condensation even after long periods of use.

Looks

I have really enjoyed this tanks during my time with it and one of it’s strong points would be it’s design and simplicity, the coil heads have a nice design, I really enjoy the orange o-rings around them I think this adds a bit of color to the tank and attracts your attention on these. In terms of design, function follows form, the top cap for example has a nice pattern embossed into it so that you can easily unscrew the top cap for filling your tank. On top of the bottom airflow ring you have Aspire embossed and I don’t know, perhaps it was just pure coincidence but regardless of the mod I have been using the logo was always facing the front of the mod, this added a nice touch in terms of the looks and design of the tank. The cuff caps included with the tank were also a nice addition, the purpose of these cuff is to dissipate heat at the top of the tank and for design purposes to match the tank with your mod. You have 4 different colors to choose from (orange, black, red and blue), I have also found these particularly useful when I wanted to remind myself of what e-juice I had in the tank, especially if you are have 2 similar tanks with different e-juices in them. Besides the different rubber cuffs for your top cap you also receive a vape band, the vape band is nice however I am not a huge fan of these but receiving this with the kit is a plus especially for people who enjoy having these on their tanks.

Vaping experience

So far I have found this tank to outperform a lot of the sub-ohm tanks I have reviewed before, it produces massive and flavorful clouds. The coil head I have enjoyed the most was the 0.4 Ohms Clapton, as I mentioned before the coil head is huge with big juice ports, the vertical design also helps it with reducing the amount of gunk building up too fast on your coil head. For me the perfect wattage for the 0.4 Ohms Clapton was around 43-45 W, above that the vape was too hot for my liking however the coil heads have performed remarkably even when I have chain vaped, the top of the tank does get a bit warm when you chain vape it however it isn’t something to worry about (with the rubber cuff off the tank).

Aspire Cleito

For me the 0.4 Ohm Clapton was the perfect fit for this tank as it didn’t require a long ramp up time and you could enjoy both worlds, a hotter vape or a cooler one depending on your liking. Concerning airflow control, on this tank you have a lot of airflow – the airflow control gives you the possibility of producing some pretty big clouds and the fact these are full of flavor to me this tank is a definite must have.
